Tad was pretty sure she spit in someone's food on at least one occasion but he'd never rat on her. "And there was one time this guy started having a heart attack, she was like ON IT." Snapping at everyone to make space and help her lay him down on the floor. "She saw this one lady taking aspirin earlier so Ivy made her give the bottle over and like, ground it up. And then put it in the guy's mouth and told him to swallow it."

And yeah, the other finance bro Tad was flying with had made a joke saying that Ivy could make him swallow and yeah Tad had totally laughed at it, but he still respected how much of a badass she'd been.

"I get the vibe she's kind of a loner though. Never really hung out with the other flight crew--and I even heard them inviting her out for dinner."

ABBOTT ELEMENTARY 2.12 Fight

Muse: Ivy, bisexual. Shape shifter.

Plot: Your muse recently broke up with their long term partner and isn't ready to tell their family. Your muse knows that Ivy is a shapeshifter and asks her to fill in during the holiday. Your muse still holds a torch for their ex even though they are in denial, so this leads to some conflicting feelings. The ex may be male or female (your choice)

Ivy leaned forward in her seat, a half smile on her face as she gave her friend her full attention now. They couldn't be serious. It looked like they were serious. "So let me get this straight. You're saying you want me to shape shift into your ex to avoid an awkward holiday? You realize how ridiculous that sounds, right?"

What else were they supposed to do? Let those kids' ball go into the street? How would they continue their game of kickball! The image of her and @patientlyloves chasing after a bright pink unicorn ball has begun to circulate twitter and she shakes her head at her phone. She laughs, then shrugs up at him. "We're alright," she says and nudges her elbow into his side.

valerii couldn't help herself and let out a snicker, equal parts disbelief and gratification. if nothing else the interaction seemed perfectly in character for the sanctimonious bitch valerii was beginning to see her as. "have a nice night. hope it's not lonely."

"are we friends?" she didn't have to say anything, there was nothing to defend. and she didn't need to defend her choices to anyone. if valerii didn't know, then it was for a reason. and one she could hold in her chest, keep for herself as long as she liked. "i didn't realize i needed your opinion."

"i don't want to get stuck." just as much as she didn't need to get caught in this conversation. she smashed the remains of her cigarette into her glass, pushing back from the bar. "great catching up with you."

with the current direction of their conversation henri found himself thinking on the beginning of their relationship and the grand display of his devotion. he was hard pressed to think of a way to top what had happened in the paris catacombs and the notion almost elected a dark chuckle.

but again, he felt there was something to be found in that line of thought. it wasn't entirely clear at the moment, he didn't have the words to articulate it. just a vague thought: metamorphosis. henri's discontent with their relationship had been growing for some time but perhaps that was a natural product of stagnation. he had bent elisabeth as far as he could in this direction. perhaps it was time to try a new angle. like a doctor rebreaking a bone after it had healed.. incorrectly.

his introspection was obvious and he could only offer a shrug at her observation. "no, you're correct." elisabeth had only ever been indifferent to their possessions. "perhaps i'll show her how to use a gun" and perhaps he'd give her a target to use it on. "--for emergencies."

she thinks to the rose that tobias had procured out of nothing, just so that she might have something with her coffee. certainly if he can do that in quarantine, henri doesn't need to be coached on how to think outside the box. there were supply runs and rooftop gardens, any number of things. "origami." perhaps the shortest of answers, a buried just make it, though phrased a fraction nicer.

and then she thinks of her current accommodations, realizing she doesn't actually know if she has a space to chill wine, so there's only one safe bet. "red, not a blend." perhaps barters could not be choosers, but negotiators could try all the same. after all, in another life she was losing a $200 bottle of champagne. but in this one, she would never drink it anyways.

"she doesn't seem like a woman of many hobbies." if mrs. olivier could be counted among their ranks at all, she seemed mostly to be a phantom. and he's not very enthusiastic about the traditional ways that she's seen love expressed. "material goods might be the wrong route."

I saw some cute shirts and wanted to draw something like them on some of my boys! It’s Ivy and Link time(and Gilbert of course)! Haven’t drawn Link in a hot minute so I’m glad to draw the both of them again. Ivy is surprise strong from working on a farm and having to deal with picking up animals all the time.

Ivy's head is buried in her book. It's her first day off she's had in weeks-- months?-- she can't recall. Her legs are curled up under her on the couch inside her favorite coffee shop (it's the quietest on the entire block on any given day). She's right at the climax of the book, heart racing, teeth gently gnawing at her lower lip, hair messy (by her standards). It takes a moment to register that someone's talking to her, but she finally looks up. Her heart skips a beat. No fucking way Alex Claremont-Diaz is talking to her.
